Hello Ladies. Today's card is another one from my new set Send Me Soaring. I just love these little kites. I saw the layout in the catalog with balloons but I wanted to try my kites with it. I should have added some texture to the base, but I still think it's cute. Well, I have to get ready for school tomorrow. I'm exhausted after the Winter break and need to get some sleep.

Happy New Years!! Well this is another new set that is from the Occasions mini. It's called Mixed Bunch. I also used the new Blossom punch that coordinates with the stamp set. I love this new set and the punch. I used Wild Wasabi and Pacific Point cs and ink. I used Upsy Daisy stamp set for the sentiment and the Decorative Label and Large Oval punches. This is one of the new sets that you'll find in the Occasions mini catalog. This set is called Send Me Soaring. I thought I'd try something other than flowers and butterflies. I used Lucy Limeade and Elegant Eggplant cs and I used Limeade, Eggplant and Melon Mambo ink for the kites and Bashful Blue for the clouds. It's my first attempt with this set. I also used some of the new twine that's in the mini. It's the Lucky Limeade twine. Have a great day and Happy New Year!!

Hello Ladies. This card happened by accident. Again I wanted to try and use the DSP Beyond the Garden and it wasn't working for me. I just stamped these images. I noticed that I glued the ribbon on the wrong end of the cs (it was supposed to be on the bottom). I do love the way it turned out. Yesterday my son graduated from Sweet Home High School. I was so proud of him. I can't believe how quickly this time has gone by. In a couple of short months he will be getting ready to go off to college. I'm just glad that his college is far enough away for him to stay on campus, but close enough for us to take a short drive to get him if we want to. AND today is his 18th birthday!! He's considered a man, but he's still my baby. I'm just so proud of him.

I have had LOTS of changes in the past months. First, I am no longer a demonstrator for Stampin Up. I will get back to it when things settle down. My father-in-law passed away in December and my family and I have been really torn up about it. We moved back to BUFFALO from GEORGIA!!! That is a whole big mess in itself. I'm just happy we are back close to family and now I have my stamp and scrapbooking friends near me too. Hopefully within the next month or so I will find a demonstrator near me and get signed up again. I really miss it!!!

Hello Ladies. Happy Friday! This card is made from the Level 2 Hostess set Asian Artistry. I love the images in this stamp set. I wanted to try this color combo as well. I used Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Gardern Green and Chocolate Chip. I colored the flowere with the Ruby Red and Garden Green Markers. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder with the Cameo Coral card stock and used my eyelet boarder punch with the Chocolate Chip card stock. Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Ladies. Happy Tuesday! The weather is horrible here in Atlanta. There is flooding and streets are closed all over. I didn't have school yesterday or today. I'm thankful my housed didn't get flooded like a lot of the others did.

Hello Ladies. Happy Thursday. I'm so happy this weekend is almost here. We have a long weekend ahead of us too!!
This card is one I made with one of my favorite sets. Even though it's a "sympathy" set, the flowers can be used to make all different types of cards. I made a sympathy card because it seems that there was a big need for them at school so far this year. Sorry for the terrible picture. It was the only way I could get the texture to show. I'm not very good with this camera.

Hello Ladies. Happy Tuesday! I wanted to do a card that had some fall colors in it. I used my Eastern Blooms stamp set for this card. I colored my flowers with Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango markers and colored the stem with Soft Suede.

This other picture I have is of my "new" puppy. I was puppy sitting for one of the teachers at work over the summer because she had to go home (New Zealand), for the summer and work. She thought she would be able to bring her puppy back with her but she wasn't able to. Now I have a puppy. She's great!! Now when I came home from work she misses me and wants to sit on my lap and look out of my window. Needless to say I can hardly get anything done. She so adorable I don't care.

Hello Ladies and happy Friday!! Since I am just a hobby demo, this month I was PENDING!! No problem. I told my husband if I didn't order the $300 last quarter it would just cost HIM more the next time. So I put my order in today so I could keep getting this fabulous stuff for a discount. This card was a real challenge for me. I bought this stamp set because I wanted to get away from just buying flower sets. Well when I got it, I didn't like it. This is only my second card with this set. The challenging thing for me was coloring the bird. I looked in the catalog to see what colors they used for coloring it. It was hard trying to blend the colors together. I should have used the pastels instead of the ink. I like the final outcome of the card. I think it's cute. Have a wonderful day.

Hello Ladies. This is my first try at stitching on a card. My husband bought me a small sewing machine so I could make some bags to put on the back of my student's chairs. After about making 10 bags I got the hang of using this machine. You have to know I have NEVER used a sewing machine in my life. My 14 year old daughter knows more about sewing than I do!! I guess practice makes perfect.
