I’m Back!!

I have been MIA for a very long time. I have not been stamping as much as I used to. I just signed up to be a Stampin’ Up demonstrator once again and I can’t wait to get back into my groove and do more of what I love. 

Sheltering Tree

Hello Ladies! I've been gone way too long! I've been busy with work and kids. My son graduated college last May, and my daughter is a junior in college. I'm now teaching 4th grade girls! I love it, but girls can get a little catty sometimes LOL! I haven't really stamped in a long time. I'm on my "February Break" from school so I have a little time to play with my new sets. I purchased this new stamp set "Sheltering Trees" from Stampin' Up! and I saw this technique and just had to try it. I love this color combo. Hopefully I won't be gone so long next time.  Happy Stamping!

Hello Ladies. I love love love this stamp set! I used my Deco Labels and cut out the middle from the front of the card. Then I made a frame out of Marina Mist card stock, then I sponged around a Deco Label cutout with Marina Mist and Crumbcake ink. I embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder (which is becoming my fav!). I added some polka dot ribbon to the front and stamped the greeting on the inside. Have a great day and happy stamping!!

Hi Ladies. I had this Washi Tape that I got from my upline Karen and I wanted to try it out. I love the different designs on the tape and the color combo. I got these Candy Dots and thought it made a cute addition to the butterfly. Have a great day and happy stamping!!

Wetlands Birthday

Hi Ladies! I've been so busy (and sick), that I haven't posted in a while. School is off to a good start. I like my new school and my new class. I'm teaching a new grade level this year, so learning a new curriculum is VERY time consuming. Well, I got some new goodies yesterday and I sat down today to make this cute little card. Hi Ladies. I just love this cat!! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. This is from a new set I got called Giggle Greetings. I wanted to add some texture, so I used the two embossing folders. I used watercolor paper and colored the cat with Crushed Curry ink.

Hello Ladies. Today's card I used the Whitewash technique on. I learned how to do it at a class I went to last month. That's one of the reasons I bought this stamp set. I like the way it turned out after adding a few "extras" on it.
 I'm teaching summer school this year to 3rd graders. I forgot how exhausting younger students are! I teach 6th grade during the regular year, and OMG, what a difference. I need a nap!

Hello Ladies. Today's post is from another new set I got call Regarding Dahlias. I love the big flower. I used water color paper to color the flower using Marina Mist and Midnight Muse ink. I thought it needed a little more so I added some glitter to the darker spots on the flower. It looked plain so I added the "thank you" banner to the front. I really like the way it turned out. By the Tide Gel Card

Hello Ladies. The post today is of a card I made using hair gel. I love the way it looks like water. I saw it done on a video done by France Martin (frenchiestamps.com),and I just had to try it! The bottom card is from a class I went to. It was designed by my upline Karen Long. I love the colors and the sparkles on it. I wanted to use the same colors and design in my gel card.
