Happy Sunday Ladies,
This card was a real challenge for me. I bought this stamp set because I wanted to get away from just buying flower sets. Well when I got it, I didn't like it. This is only my second card with this set. The challenging thing for me was coloring the bird. I looked in the catalog to see what colors they used for coloring it. It was hard trying to blend the colors together. I should have used the pastels instead of the ink. I like the final outcome of the card. I think it's cute. Have a wonderful day.

Very pretty Kim! I just dug this set out this morning. It's funny you posted this. I loved the sample in the catalog but haven't touched it since I got it. You did a great job on him! I will have to ink him up! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Kim! Love the image and the sentiment! Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteYou did a beautiful job blending this hun. It looks sooo pretty, dont be sooo hard on yourself:) I know I had a hard time picking colors for the birds, and even some of the animal images, but the more you work with these the more you will love them:) Good luck and make sure you put that birdie stamp to good use, and stamp a bunch of images and just mess around with different shades on each image:) You will love coloring them after:)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!!
Hugs,
Cheryl
You did a fav job coloring the bird. I just got one from PB and I have got to practice that color on them as well.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job here! I love it! I bet it would look good in only one ink too! I think you're tempting me for his stamp set! LOL! TFS ;)!
